This decoder is for converting Märklin/Trix H0 locomotives with built-in high-efficiency motors or other DC motors. The märklin LokDecoder3 has a wiring harness soldered to the circuit board, and this wiring harness already has an 8-pin NEM interface plug mounted on it for converting many locomotives with a corresponding NEM interface and for locomotives with a shortage of space.
The märklin LokDecoder3 supports the digital formats mfx, MM 1, MM2, and DCC.
